The Spring Chapter meeting was discussed relative to the low registration after the change of date as a result of the storm. It was decided that Erin would contact Dr. Pierpoint and inform him of the registration number to aid him in his decisions with respect to the presentation format.   He will also be offered three (3) complimentary registrations for the event.  The price we pay for the event is related to the number of individuals that attend. We have a minimum number for which we must pay.

Moving forward, we will revisit the ways we can provide value to our members. The pricing and location of events will be reviewed. The Risk Assessment will be completed and a budget established.

Through an email earlier this week, Meloney agreed to accept the task of creating a strategic map of the new industries as part of the Membership Committee. She will also contact the identified individuals at the Lehigh County office.

Since we have had more material to address than time has permitted over the past few board meetings and we are in a rebuilding mode, we will plan an evening meeting to run several hours in order to get ourselves organized. Erin has suggested a meeting room at her place of work which is near the Wegman’s. Our thoughts are that it might be the latter part of April. We will finalize plans for location and date using the google group.

I would like to request that members of the Board use their chapter email addresses. It will allow us to track materials if we are unable to reach the owner of that position. Sending from the address will maintain the connection with the vendor/recipient avoiding confusion if or when the Board member changes positions. Marketers will always be connected to the VP of Marketing. News services will always be connected with the VP of Communications, etc. Phones can usually be set-up to track more than one email address. If you check mail on your computer and have another gmail account that you leave open you may have an issue. The solution that I have used is to view each address in a different browser.

After a slightly extended meeting, we adjourned.
