Program Description

Engaged employees bring their discretionary effort to work, and go above and beyond their job duties to help their organization achieve success. As a learning leader, you can play a key role in driving employee engagement results. The importance of creating and nurturing an engaged workplace environment cannot be overemphasized for sustainable results.

This session will focus on:

  • What is employee engagement and why you should be concerned about it
  • The benefits of engaged employees
  • What you can do as a learning leader to drive employee engagement

As a result of this session, you will learn effective strategies that you can employ as a strategic tool to drive engagement.

Presenter: Meloney Dosunmu

Meloney Dosunmu, Founder and President of Precision Talent International, is a highly skilled facilitator and organization development consultant. She has over 25 years of experience helping private, public sector, and not-for-profit organizations implement training and development initiatives that produce results. Among her many impressive clients, Meloney serves as a Facilitator for Harvard Business Publishing and the Association for Talent Development.

Meloney is the published author of Using Emotional Intelligence in the Workplace, published by ATD Press, Alexandria VA. She has also published several articles on leadership, management, communication and learning & development for a variety of print and digital publications.
