Good data visualization, based on your specific audience’s needs, ensures that your graphs are intuitive and easy to understand.
This training will cover basic concepts of data visualization based on some of the leading practitioners in the field.
After this training, participants will be able to:
1). Analyze the audience they are communicating data to and how to best reach them
2). Explain different types of charts commonly used to communicate data
3). Create charts that apply data visualization best practices
About the Presenter: Cheryl Arndt PhD.
Cheryl Arndt PhD. is a senior learning consultant for program outcomes at Lehigh Valley Health Network. In this role she leads the study design, data collection and analysis phases of learning and professional development projects.
In her previous work experience she's held a variety of leadership roles in non-profits, publishing and higher education.
She holds her undergraduate degree from Rhode Island College, her M.A. from Antioch University New England and her PhD from Capella University all focused within the study of Psychology.
Cheryl is also a strong community volunteer supporting a variety of organizations including the Alliance of Therapy Dogs, The United Way and her local church congregation. She is a long time resident of Lehigh County.
