Contribute to the success of Lehigh staff members through the development and facilitation of multifaceted training opportunities. Guide our staff members down pre-determined learning tracks, facilitate workshops and training programs, develop and implement new training materials and tools all while being a collaborative member of the HR Talent Management Team. Immerse yourself in the employee lifecycle and support training needs from onboarding through retirement. In this role you will be responsible for program development, instructional design, technical support, marketing, program facilitation, and measurement of outcomes. 1. Program Development, Management and Logistics:
Oversee, manage, provide and design technical solutions and execute learning strategies with an agreed upon strategy for program development while ensuring all learning programs align with Lehigh’s goal to become an Anti-Racist institution. The successful candidate will explore, build and consult with a network of subject matter experts to provide course content and training curriculum to promote and deliver blended learning solutions for different learning modalities (e.g. e-learning, classroom, virtual, etc.). Managing all aspects of scheduling, planning, and communication pertaining to programming; registration is an important responsibility of this position.
2. Instructional Design and Technical Support:
Design, augment and curate learning solutions (including creating training curricula in virtual and in-person settings) to support the strategic planning of the University. These include, but are not limited to, in-person programs, live online programs, e-learning courses, training videos, and user guides. This position serves as a technical producer for live online learning programs and provides technical support for other end users.
3. Marketing
Creates and delivers communications related to Lehigh University training and development programming in partnership with cross-university departments and external vendors/networks. This position is also responsible for negotiating contracts with external vendors, facilitators, and consultants.
4. Training and Facilitation:
Facilitate and coordinate programming on a multitude of competencies for diverse audiences. Consulting with teams and leaders on various needs and growth opportunities in order to provide solutions in various formats including instrument administration, focus groups, retreats, projects and discussion.
5. Measurement and Metrics:
Measure and maintain program statistics, employee participation and training outcomes. Design, manage and analyze program evaluations, assessments and surveys to identify and address skill gaps, enabling the Talent Management Team to assess the effectiveness of training and modify accordingly.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience, Instructional Design experience preferred
Five to eight years related work experience
Ability to use foresight, strategy and preparation to accomplish goals
Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills, communication and a high level of customer service required
Experience with learning management system administration and using course authoring and video editing software preferred
Successful completion of standard background checks including but not limited to: social security verification, education verification, national criminal background checks, motor vehicle checks, PATCH, FBI fingerprinting, Child Abuse Clearance and credit history based upon the requirements of the position
